Florida is hard on screen enclosures. Sun degrades screening, humidity works on hardware, and every storm season leaves something behind. The good news is that damage is usually local, and local damage is repairable.
Repairs usually make sense when
- The frame is straight and the anchors are solid.
- Damage is limited to a few panels, a door, or hardware.
- The enclosure still fits the pool and patio the way you use them.
Replacement is worth considering when
- Several areas have deteriorated and problems keep coming back.
- The frame itself shows significant wear or corrosion.
- The backyard has changed since it was built, and the footprint no longer works.
- You are already planning a pool or deck renovation and want the enclosure coordinated with it.
Our approach
We evaluate what you have before recommending anything. That means looking at the frame, the screening, the doors and hardware, how the enclosure meets the house, and how water drains around it. If repairs will get years more out of it, we say so. If a new enclosure would serve the property better, we plan the footprint around the pool, patio, views, and the paths you use every day.
